Okay so there are so many awesome new movies coming out this winter that i thought i would just write a short piece about the ones i am looking forward to the most, and of course the biggest one Harry Potter,
Okay so the first one that i am most looking forward to is Easy A, i have been watching and re-watching this trailer for months now and it is finally out at the cinema, i cannot wait to go and see it. here is the official synopsis: As she studies The Scarlet Letter, high schooler Olive Penderghast (Stone) notices her parallels to the novel and begins to work the school's rumor mill to advance her social and financial standing.
And here is the trailer, check it out:
So you can see why i am so excited to see this one.
Next is Takers, i have been watching this trailer for a while now and have already put the featured song on my iPod, because it is that great, i don't usually like this kind of movie but there is so much hotness wandering around in it, that it must be good. Plot: A hard-boiled detective (Dillon) gets in between a group of bank robbers and their plan to make away with a $20 million bounty.
The social network opens October 1st, and looks great, it is also one of the most talked about movies at the moment and i think it is going to be as good as they are making it out to be. Plot: Harvard undergraduate Mark Zuckerberg (Eisenberg) recruits some of his classmates to develop the social networking website, Facebook. The endeavor, however, leads to a messy fallout with friend and co-founder, Eduardo Saverin (Garfield). It stars : Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake to name a few.
Life as we know it opens October 8th in the UK and i cannot wait, Katherine Hiegl is an amazing actress and she always seems to get it right, every time. so here goes for another hilarious adventure:
Conviction, now i am not entirely sure about this but you can guarantee that Hilary Swank will give a great performance, so i think i will still give it a go, this also comes out October 8th.
Fair Game also looks really good in a thriller kind of way,The Plot: While investigating the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, CIA operative Valerie Plame (Watts) discovers her identity allegedly leaked by the government as payback for an op-ed article her husband (Penn) wrote criticizing the Bush administration.
Welcome to the Rileys: i know that it is a bit of a cliche now but i actually really like Kirsten Stewart and i think that this kind of movie suits her a lot more than the Twilight saga. It will be interesting to see this although it only has a limited release so it may be a DVD order, anyway it comes out November 5th.
Finally we get to Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 1 and i have to say that these movies seems to get better and better with each installment, it is a shame they will be ending soon, but i will be prebooking my ticket to see this one, i think this is s queue for 3 hours film wherever you are.
Burlesque: i am looking forward to this one because the cast is just amazing, i love both Kirsten Bell and Cam Gigandet and cannot wait to see them in this.
Trailer:
Somewhere: this movie looks like it could go one way or the other, it has a relatively unknown cast, Dakot Fanning's sister, Elle has one of the leads so I'm going to watch it just because of her, Plot: A hard-living actor (Dorff) holed up in the Chateau Marmont gets a reality check when he's visited by his 11-year-old daughter (Fanning).
Trailer:
Country strong: A drama centered on a rising country-music songwriter (Hedlund) who sparks with a fallen star (Paltrow). Together, they mount his ascent and her comeback, which leads to romantic complications involving her husband/manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester). Now i am going to see this just because i love Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and so the actual story could be quite bad but i might forgive it if she is anywhere near as good s she is in GG. It opens 24th December most places, later elsewhere nearer to January 7th.
Trailer:
Okay so i have covered all the ones i am looking forward to, as i see them i will post a review but it may take me a while, i don't have the money to be going to the cinema twice a week, but i will try to be as quick as possible,Thanks
