Update

Okay so here is a quick update with quite a lot packed in so bear with me.

So most of my fave shows are taking a break over Christmas (Desperate Housewives, Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl) but I have to say they have all managed to leave me hungry for more, Susan being almost dead on the pavement being the best cliff-hanger. I didn’t see what happened with Gabby’s biological daughter as my TV was having a moment but I thought the way they have played out that especially Juinata’s finding out. I am glad that all the bad feeling is gone between the housewives and the gay guys, they do seem to make life fun around the street. But here is a great promo for the next episode:

Vampire Dairies was really good this week with a lot going on. It was heart breaking every second Tyler and Caroline were on screen and it was good to see both of them with more screen time as they are both very awesome characters. It was also nice to see some good old sibling squabbles between Elena and Jeremy, and of course like with most of these episodes Damon shone, although I do think that the whole finding out if the new girl is a wolf or not was a little long winded.

Gossip Girl was also very good, I loved the way they brought everything together and it was good to see Blair and Dan on screen together they seem to have great chemistry when trying to save Serena. It was also good to see Jenny on screen even if it was only for a few moments; I do hope she gets a bit more screen action when the series returns in the new year. I also love the last song in this episode, below is a video of it, Coming Home:

I have also found a promo for the next episode:

Okay so also since I last checked in there was the explosive last episode of Life Unexpected season 1, I really love this show and am a little disappointed that there will not be a season 3 although season 2 looks to be explosive and I can’t wait. Here is a promo to keep you hooked:

On the mention of really good cancelled shows, Dark Blue has recently been cancelled by it’s home network TNT. I am really upset about this as this is one of the best cop shows I have seen in a while but I am still going to watch season 2 when it comes round again.

You may also know that I am doing a episode by episode blog post about Gilmore Girls, I have been trying to update this as quickly as possible but as with all best laid plans it did not go entirely to plan with me now almost a week behind but have no fear people I will be back to this soon, I have not had a chance this week at all and I am sorry.

As you know Veronica Mars one of my most favourite programmes has just come to the end of its run again but have no fear I have discovered something new and almost as exciting. I have really gotten into Everwood in the last week or so, it stars, Emily VanCamp, a favourite from Brothers and Sisters. The rest of the cast is also pretty amazing. Of you have not yet seewn this TV show and I cannot believe that you haven’t, it is all about a man who moves his son and daughter to a small town called Everwood after his wife dies, they of course with any small town (think Gilmore Girls) meet some quirky characters but it seems to work for them.

Also this week we had the double bill of the final couple of episodes of Make it or Break it and I have to say I love this show, I cannot wait for it to come back again.

Leverage was also really good the past couple of weeks, although I have not seen the latest one so I will be interested to see how they cope without an office and all going in different directions but I am sure they will work it out, they have to I am really excited to see what happens with this.

Pretty Little Liars is kind of annoying me a bit now, I don’t see it going anywhere, but I will stick with it in the hope that it will get better.

Okay so I know I have already said this in another post but 90210 is coming back guys! SENIOR YEAR BABY! HELL YEAH! Now I know I have been asking for this for ages but now that it is here I remember how bad the storylines have been in the past, hopefully this year will be better, I mean we have so much to talk about, what with the assumed rape, the drunken car crash and the evil guy setting fire to the boat but the most important thing in my mind at least was Annie and Liam. Here is a promo

Also brand new in January is Glee, now I know I am way too far behind in this as it is almost half way through in the US but of course being the UK we have only just started it now. So here is a promo:

In my browsing of many different TV websites I have decided I have to see Melissa and Joey, it looks hilarious.

Okay so i think i have covered everything, i will continue putting up the lists i started.

Update

Okay so i am so sorry i have been AWOL for a while, there has been just so much going on, so here are just a few things which have caught my attention recently.
Okay so it was sad to see the end of this series of One Tree Hill but they say it will be back, i have been watching all the sneak peeks and things, and reading up on all the gossip on this great blog i found here.
I did try to get into Misfits  great British drama based around a group of probationers but i haven't really got into it this season, i will try again at some other point when i can pay it more attention but for now it will just be sitting on my saved sereis on my TV.
I have however found a new hilariously funny comedy on E4, i think this is the second time it is going round now but it is great. It is called Accidentally on Purpose which is just the right sort of light comedy i need when i get in for the day, you guys should definetly check it out.
And a nother big YAY for E4 they are showing Gilmore Girls from the start again, i absolutely love this show and i am so glad they are showing it round again, if you have ignored my urges before to go and check this out i would strongly reccomend you start paying attention and get yourself a dose of these two wonderful girls, i have just watched the pilot again, and like with most TV shows they do the pilot and then move locations completely before carrying on with the rest of the show and i have to say this one is particularly bad, the grandparents live in a completely different house (either that or they have so much money they can completely redo their house ina couple of days). Lukes looks completely diffferent, and loreelai has a completely different car. I forgave them all of these tiny mishaps though because i love them too much.
I have to say that i am really into the new series of the vampire diaries and i actually love how cliched it is now, i have kind of come to expect it. If you missed the whole of the first series there is a great article for you here. I know that for those of you who take this show deadly serious may not apprivcate this article but i love it.
I have just seen that Dark Blue is indeed ending after the second season but seeing as it takes them forever to get anything over here just one more season might see me through to next year. It still makes me a little sad though i really did like that show.
Then there is Gossip Girl, i am really disappointed with this at the moment because they seem to have decided to just kick Jenny out, she is still listed as a series regular but has not yet appeared in more than 3 episodes this season, i love Jenny on here and so this is my plea to Momsen, to get here act together a bit, i mean i love you and all your antics but just tone it down a bit would you? i want to see you in more episodes!
I have just read that both Chase and NIkita will both be on LIving TV in the UK, now this is a older article so apparently Nikita has already started to show, but seeing as i do n ot get Living i will have to find another way to watch these two very excellent looking shows.
I am still waiting for 90210 and Glee to make their appearnces although it doen't look like i will be getting those until after Christmas, shame.  I have also kept an ear out as to whether life unexpected, a CW original will be getting a new lease of life in a confirmed season 3 in the US but there doesn't seem to be any word, its a shame because this i s honestly good piece of TV.
Then i move on the ABC family originals, and i have found out that MTV have been airing the first season of The secret life of the American teenager, so i will hev to catch up on that, because it just looks too good to miss. I have been getting a little bit annoyed with Pretty Little Liars, i don't really see where it is going but i will give it the benefit of doubt for now, maybe it will get better. Make it or Break it is getting a hell of a lot better, i think i really like this show, they seem to have gotten the plot and the story lines all sorted out now and i am interested to see where it will go.
I have also been loving the new Leverage episodes, and i have found that the combination of that and The Mentalist has served me well these last couple of weeks.
There has also been alot going on in the new dram, The Event, now i am kind of lost completely in this right now, but i kind of like it, it is one of those shows where you know it will right itself eventually and all will reveal itself, hopefully otherwise i have wasted a lot of hours watching this show which will get me nowhere. let it not be true.
Then there is desperate Housewives, this has been great this season, although it looks like, with half the Housewives leaving after next season, we may soon see then end of this awesome show, but my heart goes out the Eva, with all her struggles recently for still wanting to get up in the morning and go play happy housewife.
Okay so i think i have just about covered everything, if i think of anything else i will be back later but for now i am in serious need of a good nights sleep.

This weeks TV

okay so this is a little round up of the TV i am going to be watching this week, these are just the evening shows, there is too much daytime TV to include, so if that is what you are interested in i would suggest you check out my other post. Anyway here goes for this weeks TV:

Sunday
This is a catch up day, like i said before i do all the ironing on a Sunday and use this as an excuse for all the daytime TV i record. Also Life Unexpected is on E4 at 7, Lux is suspended and Cate and Ryans Relationship gets steamy. Check out a little snippet here:Link

Monday
Spooks is 9pm on BBC one, now if you do not live in the UK then you may well be missing out on this one but i will try to find out when it is showing in other areas and post that later on because this is pretty amazing.
One Tree Hill is on 10pm on E4+1 or just E4 at 9pm if you like, this weeks episode looks amazing you can check out a clip here: Link

Tuesday
Tuesday is of course Vampire Diaries on IVT2 at 9pm and looks great. i have seen some clips and it looks great, please check it out otherwise you are likely to get annoyed at me later on when this show is all i talk about.

Wednesday
Gossip Girl is on at 8pm on ITV2 and looks great this week, so i will definitely be there will you?

Dark Blue is on at 10pm on Five USA, i have really gotten into this show and and am really looking forward to more episodes.

Thursday
Levergae is on 9pm on Channel 1- love this show now, was not completely sure in the begining but now it amazes me.
Human Target is on Fiver at 10pm and although i have only seen the first episode i am completely hooked.

Friday
The mentalist has a new season on on Five this week and i am so excited. definitely check it out.

Okay so that was a quick round up, i will try to post reveiws and things after each showing but i am very busy at the moment so please bear with me.

Blame the ironing

This blog has been on the net for nearly a month now. by now you must be wondering where my deep love of TV programmes and my ability to watch so many every week comes from. Well, i blame it on the ironing. Every Sunday i get up and the one chore i have to do is the huge heap of my family's ironing. now this used to bore me quite a bit because i didn't realise i could in fact multitask! yes i could stick a dvd in and watch 2-3 hours of my favorite movies , but then after quite a few weeks of this i realised i was bored of watching the same DVDs over and over again and without a disposable income of my own i could not afford a new DVD every week. i then discovered i could in fact record all those TV shows i had been wanting to watch during the week. and so the obsession began. i know sad really. i began to watch all sort of things, including: (very long list to follow):

 90210

 Ashes to Ashes

Brothers and Sisters

Cold Case

Dark Blue

Desperate Housewives

Friends

Gilmore Girls

Glee

Gossip Girl
 Heartland

Leverage

Life Unexpected

Melrose place

One Tree Hill

Roswell

The OC

Torchwood

Vampire Diaries
Veronica Mars
Wildfire

I hope to cover some of these obsessions in following posts as some of the other ones which were cancelled before their time (Veronica Mars, Roswell) do not get enough recognition. Help to keep them alive with me and the help of other people in the Blogs world.

Dark Blue Premiere

Yay i have just finished watching the first episode of Dark Blue from Thursday, i know i am a bit behind. i think i am really going to like this one, is it possible that Logan Marshall Green has gotten even hotter since The OC? I think its the bad boy charm he always seems to be channeling.  I love all the characters on this show, they all seem really down to earth and real. i don't want to give too much away but i would definitely recommend that you check it out if you haven't already.
