Fall Line Up US dates only

Okay also i thought i would do a little run down of all the new shows appearing on our TV screens soon.
Okay so lets try and do this in date order:

Lying Game August 15th ABC Family
Okay so i wasn't sure whether to put this in the fall line up or not because it is kind of depressing to think of August as Fall but oh well, i thought it really needed a mention. Okay so it is based around two twin sisters who were seperated at birth and then found each other, just in time for one to be kill. (Yeah i know!) Okay so aside from the obvious flaws i think this looks really good, mainly because it has Balir Redford in it. (Hot fake english guy from 90210). I am hoping this will come to the UK soon, i am thinking that it will probably be a E4 thing or maybe MTV, i don't know but i am looking forward to it.
See for yourself:

Ringer  September 13th CW 9pm
Okay so i was never really a fan of Buffy, mainly because i didn't really know about it until it was finished and then there didn't seem much point but i love the look of Sarah Michelle Gellar in this. It looks like they have really done well in the supernatural dramas tghis fall, well done CW, i might just forgive you for getting rid of LUX. Anyway enough of this here is a quick peek:

90210 September 13th CW 8pm
Okay so it is back with season 4 and they are all off in college, hopefully happy but then it is 90210 so probably nit, anyway i am looking forward to this season, it should be a bit of a change of pace, although hopefully a good one, i may switch off if the first thing we see is Ivy miserable because her new husband died on her.
The Promo is finally here take a look:

Parenthood September 13th NBC 10pm
Okay so we have just finished the first season in the UK and i am happy to hear that it will be back with a third season in the US. I love this show and i don't think they could do any wrong in my eyes really.
Like with most returning shows they have not released a trailer but it will be here as soon as they do.

Up All Night September 14th NBC 8pm
Now this show is all about a couple who have just had their first baby and their take on their new lives. Personally i think it looks hilarious and cannot wait for it to get over here. I think it will probably come to 5* over here and i hope it is soon. Here is a preview:

Free Agents September 14th NBC 8.30pm
Okay so this looks like it could be hilarious. I love Hank Azaria and i think he is hilarious. It will be good to see him in a comedy like this.
See:

The Secret Circle September 15th CW 9pm
Okay so this looks like it could either be really good, or really really bad. This is the answer to the cancellation of LUX, especially because it has Britt Robinson in it. It is yet again another supernatural drama from The CW i just hope they actually manage to pull this off, because it could be really good. I am thinking this will be an ITV2 pick up. (hopefully).

The Vampire Diaries September 15th CW 8pm
Okay so TVD will be back for their third season and i have to say that the promo looks epic, i don't really know where they are going to go with these storylines but either way i think it will be even better than last season. See:

2 Broke Girls Sepetmber 19th CBS
Okay so this show is all about two waitresses who are completely broke, one who has always been and one who lost her fortune. I have to say that this could go either way really, either an excellent light hearted comedy, or an annoyingly fake sick joke kind of predictable thing. Either way it will probably end up on our screens in the UK through 5*.

Castle season 4 September 19th ABC
Okay so Castle is back on our screens soon enough, which is a good thing to know considering i am loving the first season which is showing at the minute on channel 5.

New Girl September 20th FOX
Okay so this is a new comedy brought to you by FOX. It is a hilarious show all about a you girl who after finding out about her boyfriends cheating decides to move in with three guys. It is hilarious just watching them in the trailer, if the show is as good as that then we are all good, check out the trailer:

Glee September 20th FOX 8pm
Okay so Glee is back with its third season this fall and i have to say i am looking forward to it, of course as we know in the UK they are showing this coming season on Sky and i am guessing that they will not want to be that far behind the US.

Body of Proof September 20th ABC 10pm
Now I have yet to see the first season of this show but I loved the look of it so I am putting the second season in this list. It is still lead by the ex housewife, who I have to say seems to be doing better than other ex housewives. They have yet to release a trailer but I will add it when it hits the internet.

Revenge September 21st ABC 10pm
Revenge is a new drama offered up by ABC. It is headed up by Emily Van Camp (Brothers and sisters) as a rich newbie in a town full of wealth, beauty and revenge. The trailer does not give much away but it still looks pretty awesome. See:

Charlies Angels September 22nd ABC
Okay so this is ABC's remake of the original classic, I have to say it looks pretty awesome but i'm not sure whether it will make it over here, there doesn't seem to be enough story. I dunno.

The Mentalist 22nd September ABC 10pm
Simon Baker is back for season 4 after killing "red John" now I'm not sure that he has killed him because otherwise we have kind of lost focus on the show but it will be interesting to find out.

Nikita September 23rd CW 8pm
Okay so Nikita will be back with their second season at the end of September.

Desperate Housewives September 25th ABC 9pm
Okay so I have yet to finish the second half of the last season but they are already back for more and i will catch up, i promise. I will add a trailer when it comes out.

Heart of Dixie September 26th CW 9pm
Okay so this is a brand new show coming to the CW this fall, i am really excited about this show, it has been too long since we saw Rachel Bilson on our TV screens and i think this show is a perfect fit for her. So it is all about a doctor who after having trouble at work, moves to the country and of course lives happily ever after, i don't know, something like that. Anyway here is the trailer:

Gossip Girl September 26th CW 8pm
Okay so after all the drama they left us with the end of the last season I cannot wait for the next season to start but because they love to tease us it is one of the last to start up in the fall, they have yet to even release a trailer. ITV2 ussually manages to get in there pretty quickly.

Yay finally we have a promo:

Suburgatory September 28th ABC 8.30pm
Okay so i am still not sure about this show but i will put it on here anyway. i'm thinking that by the time it gets to the UK it is going to be a 5* thing.

Last Man Standing October 11th ABC 8pm
Okay so i am giving this a chance because ABC atre really good at family comedy dramas, it kind of reminds me of 8 simple rules, that is why i am giving it a chance.

Grimm October 21st NBC 9pm
This show is all about fairytales and them basically coming to life, i really llike the idea of this, probably even more than i will like this show. I am thinking this will probably end up on channel 4.

Once Upon a Time October 23rd ABC 8pm
This is another fairytales coming true kind of programme, this looks kind of the weaker of the two in my opinion but i will give it a go. Here is the trailer:

I Hate My Tennage Daughter November 23rd  FOX 9.30pm
Okay so this looks hilarious, i cannot wait for this one, it kind of has a melissa and joey kind of vibe and i love that show so i am hoping good things. I think this will probably get onto E4 maybe but it will be one of those delayed programmes so you may have to wait a bit in the UK.

There are other shows which i am excited about but they have yet to announce when they will be showing. When they are announced i will add more details and the trailers:

Scandal ABC
Work it ABC
Apartment 23 ABC
Good Christian Belles ABC
Body of Proof ABC
Are you there Vodka, its me Chelsea NBC
Bent NBC
Awake NBC

E4's pickin em up

Okay so E4 have just announced they will be picking up Apartment 23, from ABC, i think it is going to be hilarious and i loved it from the first time i saw the trailer, but here it is again just in case you missed it:

abc drama!

Okay so i have just finished watching an abc family double whammy: Make it or Break it  and Pretty Little Liars and i have to say they were both rather entertaining, up there with my fave original abc drama, 8 simple rules.
Okays so quick overview of both shows- look away now if you have yet to discover these shows.

So Make it of Break it is about four elite gymnasts who all train at the same gym. the story follows them through their lives and the challenges they face to become Olympic champions. There is Payson, the average girl with average family who is an amazing power gymnast and who is very very focused. Then there is Kayley who is more focused on the popularity side of being an elite gymnast and her boyfriend (who shes not supposed to have). As with any group of teenage girls there is the bitch- Lauren a true daddy's little girl who gets everything she could ever want through her dad. Then there is the new girl, the odd one out, she is the wild card who came from a public gym on a scholarship and although it is against gym rules, has to have a job to support her family. I have a feeling with those three in a gym together things are going to get interesting. In the first episode we got introduced to these characters, their family's and their coaches. and then just when we thought we were going to get a bit bored of this show, all hell breaks lose as Lauren loses her spot on the team and decides to move to a different club, taking with her all her daddy's money and more importantly the gyms coach- Oh the drama! i just hope they manage to get it all across in this amazing short first season with only ten or so episodes to work with. hmmm... that will be interesting. but don't worry guys this show looks like it is in for the long haul having just been renewed for a third season in the US.

Then there is Pretty Little Liars, i am still a little bit worried about this show, it is supposedly based on a really good book series which is very popular but i haven't had a chance to read it. For those of you who have, Do you think i should read the books first before watching the rest of the show, would i actually get what is going on better? I don't know i am not sure. it kind of seems like this show is a bit of another teen drama with no storyline behind it. Four pretty girls get themselves into a nightmare situation, scream a lot and then get rescued, i don't know they need to do something better than that to keep me interested. Also the total cliche of them all having their own problems, the worst of which is Araia (Lucy Kate Hale), i mean the whole hooking up with the teacher is so over done and totally unrealistic, i mean come on i have never met a teacher who i would in anyway go anywhere near. i think this show needs a dash of reality and less hot people frolicking around for an hour.

On a totally different note i caught up with The Mentalist last night which was pretty amazing, it was nice to learn some more about Jane's past, although i really want to know who red john is now, is is driving me insane.

And on another side note in my post yesterday i gave you a grid of shows expected to be picked up and not be picked up and i after CW's announcement of the rest of their TV shows i will be really sad to see Life Unexpected go, hopefully it will get a late pick up.

Update/ catch up

Okay so i have been away for a while so i thought i would just post this little catch up of what i have been reading, watching and listening to:
okay so first, you may remember me posting a music video on the post abopuyt the first episode of the second season of Vampire Diaries Called Wonderful life by Hurts- if not view it here. I loved this song so much that i decided to download the rest of the album and i have now listened to it solidly for the last week and a bit.  You should definitely check it out. Here is a link  to iTunes: Hurts- Happiness
I am also well into the Marked series now and i love it- it is a very girl power book and very teenage angstish- i am so into it. Check it out here.
I have also read the first book in the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz and i am really excited about this series as well, although yes it is another Vampire series and at the minute i think this genre is severely over done but this book is waaay to good to let that get in the way of me reading this series.
Okay so i know i have been away for a while but i am also ill so i have managed to catch up on Vampire Diaries already and i have to say that this episode was amazing. Maybe even better than the first episode of this series. So five stars. i love Caroline as a vampire and i have to say the relationship between Damon and Stefan and Elena is pretty amazing in this episode and it was good to see some werewolf action in this episode. The only thing which annoyed me was that Matt is still the only one in the dark and i feel really bad for him.
Make it or Break it- yay this amazing abc original drama is finally making its way to UK airwaves and i cannot wait- it is on today at four and i cannot wait. Watch the promo just here. Okay so it is the  promo for when the series came out in the US but you get the idea. I wrote a lot about this before in my moan so check it out here.
I am so glad that so many US shows are finnally being picked up. but as can you can see from past posts you can see i am still missing some. i haven't managed to see the first episode of Pretty Little Liars but when i do i will post about it- i am really excited.
Desperate Housewives made its debt this season on Sunday and i have to say it keeps getting better and better. the only thing i have a problem with is i swear they have replaced the guy who plays Carlos- he looks way different but he could have just lost an amazing amount of weight- i don't know he seems different. I am also really excited to see Renee (Vanessa Williams) in this and i have to say she is amazing in this an i am very excited to see what they do with her character.
I have also caught up with One Tree Hill and i am soo happy that Brooke is happy, upset that Skills and Mouth are not talking. i wonder what theyw ill do with the whole sarah bit of the show that will be fun. i really wanted Haley to be preganat and i loved the bit with Brooke, her mother and desinger. i can't believe that Julian is being blackmailed, just to add to the drama. And again Bethany is anamazing actress and she made me cry again in this episode. Remember people next week One Tree Hill is on an hour later because of the whole Hollyoaks later thing next week so reset your box.

Okay below i have pasted a little grid of the prediction table of the TV shows which will and will not get picked up for the next year and i have to say i am a little upset about this. according to this table Life Unexpected may be going and Parenthood may also be going- i am so annoyed.

Okay so i think i have covered everything, i will post again about what i will be watching this week later- watch out for that one.

Quick Quick Quick

Okay so this is quick post as i am in the middle of packing- meaning my room is now covered in junk i keep putting into my suitcase and taking out two minutes later. anyway i though i would just take a moment to update you on what i have been watching this week and other fun things to look forward to. I will be super quick and try to cover as much as possible, so keep up.
Okay so this week i have already blogged about what i have been watching and did separate posts for both life unexpected and One Tree Hill well, here is a quick overview of the other things i have been watching, i do not want to offend, all my TV programmes are important to me but i am pressed for time.
So Vampire Diaries on Tuesday was nowhere near as good as the first episode, but maybe it was just because i had been looking forward to the first one for a good few months and this one a few days, i don't know. Anyway lots of fun stuff happened and this is where you do not read if you have not seen this episode yet, i hate reading spoilers personally so look away now. So Caroline is a vampire as we first thought but she seems to be dealing with it well, even teasing Damon a little which is always fun to watch. Stefan has become a lot more talkative and did you know? He can fly, or at least jump very very high without even bending his knees, i  know weird! Bonnie was a lot more friendly this week and it was good to see her and Elena together. Maybe it was because Katherine didn't actually make an appearance in this episode that it seemed more boring i don't know but i did miss her, it is always good to have more havoc she seems to bring. Random thought but where is Alaric? surely he would want to be in the middle of all this with Katherine knocking around. And the most important bit- hot werewolves wandering around- this is going to be so much fun. *** 3 star rating this week, sorry guys, try better next time.
Next there was Gossip Girl and i cannot believe where this is going this season and- Spoilers- i cannot believe Eva has left Chuck, all because of Blairs cunning if a little childish plan. we all knew that as soon as Serena came back into the picture that Vanessa would be out on her ass but i actually felt a bit bad for her this time, personally if i was Dan and Vanessa i would run away now whilst things are actually good before all the GG drama can mess it up again. Again i felt a little bit sorry for Rufus again, Lily really does own him. Oh well, i am sure that will change when Jenny comes back into the picture she has a bigger pull for Rufus that Lily. I am really looking forward to what Juliet is up to, lying about the text and managing to lie about where she lives.
Human Target was not as good as last week but still pretty amazing although i have to say i would love to learn some more about the cast, i feel like i don't really know them yet.
Coming to UK TV on Viva is Pretty Little Liars the  abc family original drama adapted from a book series it looks like one of those things which is either really good or really bad, i can't tell yet, i will blog about it as soon as i have managed to watch it.
In other news i have just finished reading the first couple of books in the IT Girl series which i am really enjoying,, it is by the same author as the Gossip Girl series. i didn't know that when i picked the first book up, i don't think i would have read it if i had known, as i never really got into the GG books, but i love these! i would recommend that you read them, trying not to affiliate them with the TV series but it is your choice. Anyway there is a point to this, as i am about to go on holiday, i am going to take a break from the TV and catch up with some of my faverite authors and so i have decided to take the first few books in the Marked series and the first of the Bluer Bloods series, i will report back.
Ermm anything else to report...
Oh yes still pissed off that they haven't aired any of the 90210 season yet or Glee especially as i keep seeing pictures and reports all over the Internet annoying or what?
Also can we all stop moaning about Chris Moyles and how he shouldn't be on Radio 1 anymore- i love him and he is the only reason i manage to get up in the morning, so stop picking on him would you!
Can i also say i have now lost all respect for Mischa Barton after the interview she gave about how Fearns portrayal of her on Fearn And... was insulting and untrue and how Fearn is in no way near as good as her. SHUT UP MISCHA! I used to love you in The OC but now i just think that you will say or do anything to get yourself known and i although i don't particularly like Fearn either, she did not deserve that!
Okay so end of rant, end of post, got to get back to packing- Luve yuu

Rant Rant Rant

okay, so i thought i would just take this opportunity to have a bit of a rant and moan. i am rather annoyed that here in the UK we are so far behind, i mean look at how far behind we are on 90210- in America they are already well into season three and there is no sign of it making an appearnce her in the UK anytime soon.
so in the rest of this post i have scoured the internet for trailers and tidbits of shows i would like to see make their way over here asap;

Chase

Now i really like the look of this one, a bit of girl power i think going on but at the same time, it looks like it is well written and acted. the action looks real and i think that i could really enjoy this programme.

Parenthood

Okay so , this is a brand new show from NBC and personally i think it was a good choice for Lauren Graham, although i don't think she is going to beat Lorelai Gilmore, but this does suit her. The rest of the cast look amazing and like they can all act even the younger elements of this rather large main cast. I really cannot wait for this one, i think it is going to have a Brothers and Sisters feel to it but more real, if that makes any sense.

Hellcats

Okay now, i know it is quite sad but i am a big fan of the Bring it on movies and i think this programme has that kind of feel to it just with way better music, check out some of the other promos, the music is just awesome. I also think it is going to be good because they have some of the best actors thrown in from previous projects such as One Tree Hill, which is just amazing, and if it is anything like Ten Inch Hero (a film i definitely reccomend) it will be amazing.

The Secret Life of The American Teenager

Now i think that this one would be amazing, in a teenage trash kind of way, which is what i love best. i tyhink that seeing as it is now several seasons in, in America it must be a sucess and i just hope they launch it over here asap. From past experience abc has produced some amazing comedy family dramas like this one and i have loved them, so why should this be any different?

Make it or break it

Now from the fact that i love the film Stick It, i think that this one would be a success in my eyes, but look at it, again it is an abc original which imply some kind of quality but it also has great montages and great music. the mix of drama and athletics is there, i think it is going to be great.

okay so i know a lot of you aren't necessarily from the UK and do not have to put up with the waits like i do, do you think i am looking forward to the right shows? any others that i have to see? Comment me and i will check them out.
